Happy Hearts Child Care opened its doors in 2005 in the city of Santa Ana. Its mission is simple; to help families raise happy, healthy, and successful children. Our philosophy, the reason for our success, has been to treat each child with love and respect.

A Family Day Care is a licensed home-based day care. Family Day Cares are licensed by the California Community Care Licensing Department (CCLD). Providers and family members who live in the same residence go through an intensive background check for the security of the children. The CCLD inspects the homes for the safety of the day care children.

There are many benefits to having your child enrolled in a Family Day Care. A few of those include:

2. More direct supervision
3. An opportunity for children to be sensitive to others
4. More of a family environment
(bonding between providers and children is greater)

Happy Hearts founder, Graciela Avila, opened her child care business with a goal in mind: to open up a unique Day Care Center with a new approach towards working with children and their families.

Since opening, Happy Hearts, has been located in Santa Ana in the 92707 zip code area, close to the 55 and 405 Freeways.

Happy Hearts' curriculum is developmentally age-appropriate. We take into consideration the children's ages, interests, and stages.

Daily Activities include: Preschool Time, Reading Time, Fine Motor and Gross Motor Activities.

Founder Gracie Avila has taught in California's public schools and her knowledge of the curriculum and standards in today's school system sets her child care program apart from other day cares. The Happy Hearts Child Care has high academic standards and the curriculum is modified to meet individual needs.
